Gail has been a previous board member and friend of Duende for almost 25 years. A Sonora native, her background includes a BA in fine art from Stanford in 1971 with a minor in English. Her interest in communication design led to a ten-year stint designing magazines in NYC, from the Muppets to sports to wildlife conservation. Upon returning to Tuolumne County in 1989, she followed a calling to teach at Sierra Waldorf School. There she was exposed to Duende’s plays for schools and became an instant believer in its mission. As a longtime graphic design contributor and recently, opening her home to the filming of ABOLITION, she stands by Duende’s work with pride.
